Council The Council is the University’s governing body and is responsible for the administration and management of the affairs of the University amongst other matters. The Council is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the University, and for its finance, property, investments and general business. Its objects, powers and framework of governance are set out in the Charter and its supporting Statute. 1966 -
