She mentioned a tale regarding her eldest son, which indicates that she did get married.

She mentioned Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee and how her patriotic family celebrated it.

She was heavily committed to the Baptist faith, having grown up in a Baptist family.
She enjoyed singing and sewing, the latter of which she learned at a young age.
